When I removed the A Star Navigator from my model the transport lost Z reference.
When you connect a task executer to the A* Navigator, it automatically changes the offset mode to "Use navigator for offset travel."
When you delete your A* Navigator, it doesn't change that setting.
Change that setting back to "Travel offsets for load/unload tasks" if you want the Transporter to behave how it behaved before the A* Navigator changed that setting:
