Installation problem

Here is the situation : I have already installed Flexsim19.2.3 version which works well, and i received several models which were made in lower version from my colleague. I don't want to save them in 19.2.3 version, because if i do so, my colleague can not open them by lower version Flexsim. Thus, i downloaded version 19.0.0 installation file. But as i run the installation process, an error ,in the pic below, showed up.

So i uninstalled Flexsim 19.2.3 and deleted all relevant installation files, and restarted my computer to try again. The same error came up again. I can't see where is going wrong.??

Have you tried to install the *.msi Microsoft Installer File? Phil told me, that these files doesn't contain the OPC. If you don't need the OPC then this can help. Another different approach consists in a customize installation to a different directory like "c:\flexsim19" instead of the standard installation path as "user\username\program files".

To get rid of the OPC Files is devastating, you find parts of the installation in the apps of windows and there are some additional locations in user\username\AppData path and sub directories. If you can find the right Microsoft installation file of the OPC Version you can force the installation routine to delete the version.

HI, I'm with the same problem. I can't install FlexSim 19 because this message appears. I already thy to access regedit and delete FlexSim folders, uninstall via Control Panel but nothing is working.

Hi @Guilherme L2,

As suggested above, you must install using the .msi file. If you don't have access to the .msi file for the FlexSim version you're trying to install, please contact your local FlexSim distributor.
