Why does the item jump when loading from conveyor into elevator?

Hi guys, @jordan.johnson

attached is a little model, where you can see the transition from a conveyor to an elevator. The first item seems to jump a little, before the smooth transition kicks in. All the following items have a smooth transition as expected. However, if you change the Interarrivaltime to 30 seconds, only one item will be on the conveyor, when loading into the lift. In that case every single item does this little jump. This happens in 19.2 as well as in the new 20.0.

Is this a bug?

This looks like a bug to me, or at least something we could improve. I will make sure it is on the dev list.

@Ralf Gruber This has been fixed in FlexSim 24.0.3 released today.

Thanks for the heads up. It probably won't be until next year that someone who knows the details of conveyor behavior will be back in the office to take a look.
