Customizable color material - Blender

Hello,

I am practicing modeling some custom objects using the Blender 3D software and I would like to know what material I should use so I can change the color in FlexSim directly by the color picker.

Also, I am exporting the objects using the Wavefront (.obj) format, does it have something with the possibility to change material colors, or may I continue exporting the objects at this format?

Thanks in advance,

What version of Blender are you using? The material system in Blender is significantly different between 2.79b and 2.8.

"Append "_fsclr" to the end of the shape's material name in your 3D software"

https://docs.flexsim.com/en/20.1/Using3DObjects/CreatingCustomObjectsAnimations/CreatingCustomObjects/#importing

In Blender 2.79b:

In Blender 2.8:

Alternatively, you could customize the shape directly in FlexSim. See https://docs.flexsim.com/en/19.2/Reference/3DObjects/SharedTabsProperties/General/#customizeshape
