Error when using fixed gap merge controller Process Flow

I am getting the following error when I try to use the fixed gap merge controller in my model. Nothing custom with the slugs, merge conveyor or the merge controller.

Error: " A conveyor merge gap is below the target gap on MergeController1. Target Gap: 3. Actual Gap: 0.00005. Model has been stopped. To edit this message, go to......"

@Majid A, can you post a sample model of this problem?

The issue was due to a bottleneck in the downstream conveyance systems, it was backing up all the way to the merge and slowing the items on the merge conveyor. After releasing the slug, the gap is being measured and recorded somewhere in the process flow(?) and error pops up if it is less than the specified value. It is still a bug that should be fixed.

The fixed gap merge process flow was designed to assume no backups on the downstream line. The gap check, with its message box, is there as a sanity check to ensure the merge is working as it should. That said, if your downstream line is backing up and that's ok, then you should just change the process flow to not print that error. The process flow was intentionally designed as a "white box" meaning the full logic is viewable and customizable by you the user. If it does not work as your situation requires, then you can and should figure out how the process flow is working, and change it to suit your needs.
