Which variable do you need help updating? Are you referring to Global Variables? Or a label variable on the fixed resource?
Any screenshots or example models you have to explain your question would be helpful. Thanks!
Thanks for clarifying your question. The User Manual has sections for each of these activities that will provide lots of information about them. I also created a small example model to show how it can work. The example uses the Variable to track how many items are in Queue1 and then it checks that number to create an appropriate number of tokens to move the items to Queue2. There are hundreds of ways to use variables, though, so don't think that it's limited to my example.
Variable: Variable User Manual
Get Variable: Get Variable User Manual
Set Variable: Set Variable User Manual
Example: variable example.fsm
Thanks a lot , I was reviewing the manuals but i don't see any example in my tutorials. I only saw images and html files.
The example model was something I made and attached to this question, so it wouldn't be available in the tutorials. Were you able to open and review the model? Did you have other specific questions about using Variables?
