What is the max Poly Count for FBX Files or a recomanded range?

Im Working on a Scene with about 20 to 30 Models. Most of them have a Polycount around 1000 but one of them is over 15000.

This will depend to some extent on your hardware and what you think is an acceptable framerate when working with the model. I'd advise you try the geometry you have with your hardware and if you're not happy with the drawspeed then consider doing some polygon reduction.

@Dominic P

Also, for most modern graphics cards, rendering 450k polygons should not be a problem at all. If you are having performance issues with 20-30 models with <15,000 polygons each, then the amount of polygons probably isn't the problem. It is more likely that each shape has many meshes in it and is poorly optimized.

In FlexSim 19.2, we updated the 3D importer to automatically optimize most imported shapes by their materials. Prior to 19.2, you would need to manually optimize your 3D shapes in your 3D modeling software yourself. See Optimizing 3D Shape Performance
