Utilization by Hour with Time Table Bug

Hello,

When applying a daily repeated time table for "First Shift" with an off-shift of 12am-7am and again from 7pm-12am (i.e. on-shift from 7am-7pm), there seems to be a bug where the 12am and 7pm hour shows 100% utilization.

Curiously the "Second Shift" is from 830am-830pm and the issue is not present for 9pm hour. The "Third Shift" is from 10-10 and displays the same issue as the First Shift.

The "Night Shit" is from 7pm-7am and has the same issue of 7am being 100%, but not the 12am 100% utilization, leading me to believe that the 12am 100% utilization is due to the fact I broke up the off-schedule time into two chunks as I mentioned above.

To prevent the 12am 100% orange bar from being displayed I ran a warm-up period of 1 hour, which eliminated issue!

However, the 100% utilization for the hour after the shift ends is still a mystery to me - my guess is that I do not preempt the staff to go on break (i.e. I let them finish their task), and this essentially gives them infinity utilization because they are not expected to have any.

Is there a way to correctly display the utilization during the hour after their shift ends?

Thanks!

@Mark S2 You're seeing 100% utilization at 12 AM because the staff is only in two states between 12-1. They spend 1.2 seconds in the InTransit state, and then the rest of the time in the OffSchedule state which is excluded. So 1.2 seconds of the 1.2 seconds included during that hour are spent in a utilized state.

A similar thing happens for the Night Shift at 7 AM. They spend 216 seconds finishing a task and in the ProvidingCare state, then 2.6 seconds in InTransit, and the rest is excluded OffSchedule time. So they are utilized for 218 s of the 218 s included in that time window.

Thanks! So to eliminate the first 100% issue at 12am I can simply go to People Settings --> Staff States --> InTransit and change it to "Excluded". For the issue of 100% utilization at the end of the shift I could do something like create a separate Time Table for the Triage location and then extend the shift duration of the Triage RN staff by one hour (this only works because I have assigned each staff to a specific location, and patients try to acquire the triage location before the Triage RN staff, and I do not call upon that resource to do anything else later in the model that doesn't involve the Triage locations...which I do in my case :(...).
