In the past few days some of us asked, how to enhance a default dashboard widget by additional text or to add a different diagram style. We could find solutions if we can stack dashboard widget like layers. A condition is, the background must be set transparent. How do I set the background of a dashboard widget transparent? Right now, there isn't a way to make the dashboard backgrounds transparent. I suspect it would take significant development to add that feature, and it may not even be possible. I also suspect that it wouldn't actually help all that much; attempting to overlap or line up two charts, especially of different types, seems unlikely to produce helpful results. For example, the y axis of a chart moves left or right depending on the length of text displayed to the left of it. So as the model runs, that axis moves around. A better solution is to make improvements to the charts in FlexSim.
