I am designing a simple model where patients go from a waiting room to an observation room with a doctor, then they will go to a bed in order to simulate external procedures (no need to visualize them) and finally have a comparison of how many times they have followed that loop. In case they have done it 5 times, they will be directed to the exit, in case the number of times is less than 5 they have to repeat the process.
The problem I am facing is that patients are only moving to the same beds they have used in the first loop and even when they have other free beds they only use the same bed (that goes for the examination beds and the secondary list of beds).
It is in my interest for the patients to repeat examination with the same doctor but they are waiting (unnecessary times) for specific beds to release when there are others free.
How can I send the patients to free beds, no matter if they have used them or not but ensure that the staff that sees them keeps being the same?
