I have ASRS network where I have to maintain specific distance between ASRS's as they move along aisle. I could get an example working by using closely spaced network node and traffic control. Is there a better way to do this?

If it's doing what you want then it might well be the 'best'. Proximity agents might have more overhead as they check proximity on an interval. AGVs require explicit paths to all locations and have limited offset travel.
