I would like the AGV to operate without the need for a battery charge.
To put it another way, I wish to utilize an infinite battery, but how should I go about doing so?

First off, the battery value is only used in the AGV process flow templates, so if you are not using those, you can ignore the battery level completely.
If you do use them, you can simply set the usage rate whily travelling and idle to 0 in the AGV network properties.
