I got these racks that I need to scale down. I select them all and enter a new X scale.
But when I save and load the model, its right back to the original size.
This must be a bug, but is there a know way to get it to accept the size?

Can you try using the size handles on the orb rather than the field in quick properties? If not, why do you want the bounding box to not reflect the size of the rack bays and levels?

Rack size is defined a bit different from most other FR object. The rack size is based on the slot dimensions and the number of bays and levels. See "Edit Dimensions" in panel "Storage Object" in properties for a specific Rack.
The dimensions are available as MAP.
