Hi,
I made some changes to my model (3D and Process Flow) and tried to save it.
I got this error message and was not able to close it to save the model or make any changes to my model.
What could be the reason for that kind of error?

Anything model specific, we would need to see your model so that we can duplicate the problem.
Unfortunately I can not share the model.
I was not able to save any changes I made before the error occured.
But when I redid all my changes to an older version, I could not duplicate the error.
Is there something specific I need to pay attention to so that the error does not occur again?
Unfortunately without being able to see the model, it would be hard to know exactly what could have caused the error. I will ask a developer when they get in this morning, if there are any known general tips for what could cause this.
As a side note, for restoring as much as you can of your project, you can check your autosave file for the project to see if it saved the changes. By default FlexSim autosaves every 10 minutes.
After the 16.1.2 update I started getting the same error when using a crane to travel to a location. I used the xloc(node(...)) and then would get this error multiple times.
that is interesting. I'm using 16.1.2 too, but I have no crane (or any other task executer) or any load/unload activities in my model.

I know that you both have models with sensitive information, but if either of you could replicate the issue in a small example model, then it would be easier for us to troubleshoot. Or submit your model using a private question.
It may be a bug that needs to be reported to the developers.
UPDATE: So we have seen this error before if the model is modified after running it but not resetting it. It's been hard to replicate but once we can pin down the error the developers will address it as soon as possible. For now, just make sure to reset the model before you make any changes to your model.
I fixed the error by deleting the travel to location actions that I had. So it's not appearing in my model anymore.
I tried to replicate the issue but the error did not occur again.
Thank you for the hint.
