Does experimenter work when linked to resource linked to 3D crane objects?

I want to change the number of cranes available and analyze using the experimenter. The cranes are linked to a resource in process flow as a group.

Can I change the number of cranes using experimenter or the experimenter only works with integer values?

I'm not sure if you can change the value of a resource and have it work with the experimenter. One thing I've seen others do, is to attach your operators/group to a dispatcher. And then, in the Process Flow have your resource point to the Dispatcher.

The reason for this, is that you can then go into the experimenter and when creating a new variable you can select Number of Task Executers. And then you can select the Dispatcher as the "team." This will allow you variation for the number of task executers / operators connected to a dispatcher for your Experimenter variables.
