One of the most common uses of simulation is to determine the frequency, duration length and cost of clinical staff members working overtime. The attached overtime model of an MRI clinic closes the clinic's door (i.e. discontinues patient arrivals) at 1700 hrs but continues to care for patients who are still in the clinic until all patients have been seen. At that time, the model is stopped based on the condition that no more patients are either scheduled to arrive or are in the clinic awaiting care. What is the simplest way for me to have the model, 1) record the difference between the time the clinic is supposed to close (i.e 5 p.m.) and the time the last patient leaves each day, 2)record and display in the Dashboard, the amount of time both selected and all resources work overtime each day, 3) display the cumulative cost of overtime work?
