Do people walk through walls in Healthcare version?

I know that in the standard FlexSim there is A Star where if the person is connected to A Star they will avoid walls. The healthcare version does not have A Star correct? So if I put up walls it is mainly for decorative purposes and I would still need to add nodes correct?

Yes, the walls are purely decorative. AStar is only available in standard FlexSim and the only navigator available in HC is the Network Navigator (using network nodes).

FlexSim 2018 was just released and includes the People module. This module adds several Process Flow activities that are meant to add a lot of the HC functionality to standard FlexSim. This makes it easier to build healthcare and other people-based models in standard FlexSim. Using the people module then lets you use AStar, lists, Process Flow, etc. We will be continuing to improve the People module and standard FlexSim over the coming year.

Have you tried building a model in 2018? There is a healthcare tutorial in the User Manual.

Oh awesome! I had downloaded the Beta version which only lets me put so many objects, but now that you mentioned it, looks like the full release is out! How exciting! I will try it out. Thank you!
