I am working on a model where I will simulate three shifts, my question is if I can simulate the three shifts with a single operator and throw the utilization separately for each shift? If this is not possible, would this have to represent an operator for each shift?
Here is an article I wrote. It shows how to use Process Flow to record multiple state profiles for a single operator, so you can get "per shift" utilization. The article isn't finished, so it's not very detailed, but there is a demo model attached.

You can set the shift time table to a operator or more using ToolBox>Time Table menu or the Break Tab in the operator.
So you can control the utilization of the operator according to it.
