item not exiting the area on conveyor

In my model when the item arrives at the decision point (DP1), it enters the area, and when it arrives at DP2, it should leave the area. However the item is not leaving the area and an error message pops up saying

time: 1.918856 exception: FlexScript exception: Property "up" accessed on invalid node. at MODEL:/DP2>variables/localType/onArrival

i am not sure how to solve this problem

Attached is a sample model of what you are describing. At DP1, the flowitem enters the "area". At DP2, the flowitem exits the "area". Maybe you can take a look at the model and compare it to what you are trying to do and see what the difference(s) are. If you have any questions, please let us know.
