Can you still hide a body part?

In previous versions, I was able to toggle the visibility of an Operator's head through the drawsurrogate note with switch_hideshape(). In 19.1, however, there are no body parts under the drawsurrogate node.
Perhaps as an alternate solution, is it possible to rotate a specific bone in flexscript? (That way I could swing the head INTO the body, thus hidden)

On the General tab of most object's properties window there is a button that allows you to customize the individual meshes of that object's shape.

The Male Person/Staff and Female Person/Staff shapes have a lot more meshes than the default operator shapes and have two different head meshes.

You can hide the head and hair meshes on these shapes to remove the head.
