Hello! I would like to know how an AGV can prioritize one path instead of the other one when it arrives at an intersection.
Hello! I would like to know how an AGV can prioritize one path instead of the other one when it arrives at an intersection.
I think the way you would do it depends on when and why the agv would choose the other path. Would it just be because the prioritized path is allocated? You could use control areas, and process flow, kind of like in this question here: https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/37328/is-there-a-trigger-like-capability-with-control-ar.html

Either use an AGV way point, or listen to the On Pre Arrival event of a control point at the intersection using an Event-triggered Source in Process Flow.
Then use the AGV.redirect() method to tell an AGV to travel to a control point on the path you want to prioritize.
