I cannot keep CMAs 4, 5 and 6 in the Time Table "Sch_830_1200_1730"

In the attached model, I put the CMA's 4, 5 and 6 into the Time Table "Sch_830_1200_1300_1730." When I Reset the program, FlexSim takes them out and put them into the Time Table "Sch_730_1100_1200_1630." What I'm doing to call this or what am I not doing which would prevent it?

I also just noticed that When I have the CMAs spread out and depress Reset, they are moved to one spot.

Both of these things you're seeing with the CMAs group are because of the Number of Objects in CMAs group Experiment Variable.

You'll notice when you add a new Experiment Variable that there are 2 options for changing the number of objects in a group.

The first one, Number of Objects in Group, is the option most commonly used in standard FlexSim models. This option will delete all but the first object in the group and then create copies of the first object to create the required number of objects. This is useful for models where you have generic operators using the same schedule and you want to possible be able to create as many of them as you want. This is the option you are currently using, although you don't want to be.

The second, Number of Objects in People Group, is the option that's more useful for healthcare models. Instead of deleting objects this will simply remove objects from the specified group starting at the end to reach the desired number. These objects stay in the model, but they are no longer part of the group and therefore will not be used when you specify Any Member of CMAs. This is the option you want to be using.

@matthew.gillespie In the attached version of my model, I have selected the option you suggested. The program is no longer taking the CMAs out of the CMA group And seems to be Running correctly when I reset it and run it. But I'm not sure the experiment is working correctly. The only places I am calling the CMA's is in the CMA staff group in the Patient Process Activity Set and to to perform maintenance on the Activity Tables.

I would appreciate it very much if you would look at the model and and help me with the experiment part.

Thanks,

Tee

It looks like everything is set up correctly and it runs an experiment fine for me. What isn't working for you?

@matthew.gillespie The model seems to be working for me also. The the only reservation I have is your second paragraph in your response 3 days ago. I infer from those comments that the CMAs would be taken out of specific groups when I included them in the Experimenter. Yet after I made the change that @jordan.johnson suggested Here and the changed to Number of Objects in People Group, the objects do not seem to be removed from the CMA Group and I can refer to the group in the activities in the Patient Flow. I just wanted you to check it to see if you saw anything I may be overlooking.

Thanks, have a great weekend and be safe out there.

Tee
