About the Distribution Chooser
Since it is a normal distribution, I think that the peak in the center is the highest in the histogram.
However, in the Distribution Chooser, the mountain on the right side of the center is the highest.
Why is this?
About the Distribution Chooser
Since it is a normal distribution, I think that the peak in the center is the highest in the histogram.
However, in the Distribution Chooser, the mountain on the right side of the center is the highest.
Why is this?
It is a result of a test by a small number random values. If you test a statistical function with a really LARGE number of values, then the histogram matches with the distribution quite well.
Please try this on your own in a basic model.
The graph is made from a small sample from the distribution, so are not calculated.
"Based on 1000 samples" is the important bit.
