Exponential Distribution with batch size

Example.fsm

One type of product enters the workshop in batches of 4. The average arrival time between batches is 132 minutes and is suitable for exponential distribution. How can i express this arrival time in Flexsim

Hello @Ömer Faruk Y,

I could not figure it out without using process flow. There are two possible examples in the model.

One way is to create 4 tokens in a schedule source with the exponential distribution and then create in the queue the flow items per token.

The other option is to use an inter-arrival source with the exponential distribution and then create in the queue 4 flow items per token.
