How to update items location on a conveyor

I am working on developing a device that works with conveyor and requires the conveyor to update its items locations frequently. May I ask is there a command to update all items' locations for a conveyor? Thanks for the help.

Thanks for the reply Ralf. This is great. I thought it might be a different command for conveyor module objects.
