Create task sequence priority in Process flow

Hello,

I am trying to prioritize a block in my process flow to have the operator stop any task their working on and go complete this task. It seemed a Create TS activity would help solve this, but maybe I'm using it incorrectly. If more information is needed, please let me know.

Thanks for any help.

Hello @Robert F2,

If you would like the operator to stop what they are doing and go work on this task then you want to select the "preempt, aborting active" in the Create Task Sequence.

Hey @Jeanette F, thanks for the response.

Changing the preemption to preempt, aborting active does not appear to work in my case. The token passes the Create TS and goes to the Load activity but the operator does not change tasks. Could this be because the operator is completing a task from the 3D model logic?

Hello @Robert F2,

You need to have the task sequence called out as a unique name in the create task sequence and then use that task sequence name in the operator's task activities.
