I'm probably missing something obvious, but is there a way to simply control the speed at which an item is moved from one location to another using the Process Flow's Move Object activity? Thanks.
No. The Move Object activity and the moveobject() command move the object instantaneously. To move the object over time you need to use some other method:
- Use a task executer to pick up the item and carry it
- Place the item on a conveyor and convey it
- Create a kinematic that gives the item some acceleration and/or velocity
