When opening models or a new FlexSim it shows blank

Hello.

A customer who has the FlexSim license has a problem opening FlexSim.

The problem presented is that FlexSim is shown empty, like the image I attached.

The client went to his IT department to provide the corresponding administrator permissions, logging in the IT person.

He opened FlexSim and everything worked fine, but there was another problem where he tried to open a FlexSim model built by the client, but the computer did not show any saved models, as if the FlexSim files had disappeared.

There are two problems, one with the permissions by IT that does not detect the models created in FlexSim that are saved on the computer. The second problem is that with the account of the company user FlexSim shows blank.

I tried to uninstall FlexSim and install again, but these problems persisted, the user's permissions were readjusted to be able to open FlexSim but the problem persists. Video card drivers were updated, but there was no solution. Tried View > Open Default Workspace didn't work either.

What other solutions can we apply? @Phil BoBo problem-empty-flexsim.png

@Omar Aguilera Rico Have you tried running FlexSim as an administrator?

Yes @Matthew Gillespie , do it and it works like that, but to run it as an administrator, those permissions are only held by the IT manager and not the user.

The problem that when the IT person runs FlexSim as an administrator, tries to open a FlexSim model saved on the PC but they do not appear, it is as if they do not exist.

Have you thought about to install FlexSim in a none system path directory. Simply straight in the C drive and assign read / write privileges to default users.for this directory.

Not finding model files: have you tried to assign FlexSim to be favorite program to open *.fsm or *.fsl extensions. Maybe there other programs or routines that overrides those system setting by script or on startup.
