How to control a source with a table ?

Hello,

I have a source and a table with different size of batch. For exemple 2 batches : One of 10 and one of 20.

I would like to input the size of the batch to the source just so that the source gives us the exact number of the batch during the simulation...

I think we need to use Flexscript.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Theotime G2,

The best way to accomplish what you are trying to do, is to use the arrival styles options in the source properties tab. Both the arrival sequence, and arrival schedule allow you to create a table to control how many different arrivals occur, and the size of each arrival group. I have included a model that shows how these two arrival styles work.

Table control of source_JW.fsm

how did you assign the colors in each Type? When I try to replicate this from scratch, the color of each type is always brown.

On the Queue after the source there is a trigger that changes the objects color for the Type label on that item
