Materials from source getting stored in specific positions of a rack

Hi, @Felix Möhlmann

Kindly can you tell on how to have materials of different colours getting stored in a specific position in a rack?

Ex: Brown boxes 65% flow (getting stored in lower 6 levels)

Yellow boxes 25% flow (getting stored in levels 7,8 and 9)

Green boxes 10% flow (getting stored in levels 10)

(The rack setup is 15 bays, 10 levels, 1 slots per bay)

Thank you.

First, set up a slot label in the Storage System properties (visible in the toolbox after adding a storage object to the model). You can create a custom color palette for that label, so the colors will match up to those given to the items, but this is not strictly necessary.

Then use the "Paint Slot Labels" tool found in the library to assign the label values to the slots of the rack.

Finally, set the "Slot Assignment Strategy" of the rack to "Matching Labels" and adjust the names to the labels you are using in your model.

Items should now only be stored in slots with matching label values.

Thanks @Felix Möhlmann

It worked.

The deeper I go. I am finding the tasks becoming more and more complex.

Wouldn't be able to make it without the support.

Thanks a lot.
