How to stop experimenter run in the middle?

Hi Team,

I am running 2 model in parallel; I can see that there is very little progress in run status and my CPU utilization is 100%.

Is it possible to stop 1 experimenter in middle of the run and let the other complete first so that we can see little fast progress?

Thank you!

FlexSim 22.0 onwards allows you to stop and resume experiments.

Why is it at 100%? Did you launch without realizing the system resources available, or mis-estimate the loading?

You could close one instance of FlexSim, but you might need to check for child processes it has spawned.

Hi @Jason Lightfoot,

Thanks for your answer!

Do we have any criteria to check before running simulation so that we don't overload the system resource?

Thank you!

It is an estimation you can do. You can check your system resources without running FlexSim. You can run a FlexSim model without any 3D view open from dashboard. Check now your required system resources. Estimate for how many parallel experiments your system resources might be sufficient. Then you set amount of Processors allowed for your experiment.
