Does utilization chart's Busy metric refer to an AGV Charging and Parking Times?

Hello All,

How can we use a pie chart to measure the duration of time an AGV spends in a parking spot?

I changed the predefined busy metric to charging in the pie chart below. But does this busy statistic take into account both AGV charging and parking time?, or is it solely related to the charging time of AGV/TE? If so, how can we separate them and show them in a pie chart of utilization?

If not, I'd want to know the particular steps for tracking the AGV parking statistic on the utilization pie chart.

Any sugesstions or help?

As far as I'm aware, charging doesn't cause an AGV to change its state and neither is the AGV Process Flow template setting the state when is charges an AGV.

As such, you must be setting the "Busy" state yourself (?). In which case you should be aware of what timeframe it encompasses.

That is also the general answer to your question: Set the state when the AGV starts charging. Then wait until it would reach full charge (the "startRecharge" method returns the time the recharge will take) and if the AGV is at full charge at that point (it hasn't moved in the meantime) set its state to something else.

At first, I apologise for leaving out certain details in my question. I did not utilize any of the predefined AGV processflow templates, but rather a general process flow. The charging and parking instructions are provided to AGVs with this general process flow. I used the below question as a reference for charging and parking activities.

As a result of the model's simulation, I saw that the utilization pie chart had a new state named "Busy."

Now i would like to know answer to my earlier comment

Yes the busy state relates to charging - it's set to busy in the delay task:

You should see the agvs are idle when parked just from looking at the process flow and a quick check in the model.

In your state table you have Busy contributing to the time utilized:

You can click in the cell to toggle between excluded, utilized and blank (non-utilized)
