change the height of multiple conveyors

In the previous versions of FlexSim, I could adjust the height of all conveyors simultaneously by using the mouse scroll wheel. However, this method is no longer effective in FlexSim 23.1 version. Is there any new method to achieve this functionality?

Hi @sunlight! You can achieve the same functionality by selecting all conveyors (using ctrl or the shift key) and then clicking both mouse buttons (left and right at the same time)

This post mentions that option: https://answers.flexsim.com/questions/81788/is-there-a-way-to-change-the-height-of-multiple-co.html

Additionally, you could change the height by selecting all conveyors and changing the location Z value in the properties tab. Hope that helps!

@Julie Weller

Thank you for your response. However, I would like to clarify that the method of "holding both mouse buttons and moving the mouse up or down" is also ineffective in FlexSim 23.1 version.

Furthermore, the Z values of the multiple conveyors vary, making it impossible for me to change them in the properties tab.

These demonstrations were done in FlexSim version 23.1:

By using CTRL to select each of the conveyors, then holding LeftClick+RightClick, you are able to move all conveyors in the Z direction as a collective unit. (Their Z Location/Start/End values will all change by the same magnitude.)

By CTRL+selecting all conveyors, then changing the Z location value in the properties panel, you are able to set all conveyors to the same Z height.

Using either of these methods @Julie has described, you should be able to adjust the height of your conveyors.

@sunlight Does this answer your question?

@Julie Weller @Jonah K Thank you for your response. I apologize for not fully understanding your previous message. @Jonah K Through the GIF image you provided that I realized, after selecting multiple conveyors, I need to simultaneously hold down the left and right mouse buttons above the conveyors. When the cursor changes to a move icon, I can move the mouse up and down to simultaneously change the coordinates of multiple conveyors. If I hold down the left and right buttons and move the mouse in an empty area, it will only zoom in and out of the view. Thank you once again for your clarification.

You can also place all the conveyors at similar height in a container (plane) and move just the container - no multiple selection needed.
