Unable to Select Parent Group for Statistics Collector Event

I have recently upgraded to 23.1.x. and now have discovered I can no longer select a parent group when attempting to create a Statistics Collector On Slot Entry event. I have other Statistics Collectors developed earlier in the same model where I was able to select the parent group. The model's previously developed collectors were created with 22.2.x.

I have replicated the issue in the attached model...Stat Collector Parent Group Select Issue - 05JUN23.fsm

When selecting a child group, I can select the On Slot Entry event...

However, when selecting the parent group ("AllRowsGroup"), no drop down is made available.

I also tried picking from the Tree as recommended here but to no avail...

This can be a bug. As a workaround, you can add a dummy rack to the parent group and then listen to the parent group.

First, you remove the two subgroups from the parent group. Add the dummy rack to the main group, then add the two subgroups again to the parent group. Now statistics collectors will be able to listen to the events.

Anyway in the model, the statistics collector is able to record the events in the subgroup.

Arun, thanks for the work around. I discovered that after adding the 'dummy' rack and moving it to the top of the list, I could pick the group...

Afterwards, I deleted the dummy rack. The Stat Collector retained its event settings.
