Simens S7 Emulation

Hello. I have problem with S7 Emucation. I can do this from FlexSim Docs to step of Test Connection and it can Successfull to test connect from this picture.

Then I can import plc tag to table in FlexSim but in step of Sync. Variable it will be show error message like this picture.

I try to check step for setting from FlexSim Docs https://docs.flexsim.com/en/23.1/Reference/Tools/Emulation/ConnectingToSiemensS7/ConnectingToSiemensS7.html. I'm not sure It will error because in this step in TIA Portal I don't have I/O Address like this picture to try setting.

I'm not sure this problem will be about license ? Because when I has adding Simens S7 connecting will notify message Emulation license Not found.

Hello Pongsakorn,

With the release of FlexSim 2023 all emulation protocols except for Modbus and OPC DA require a separate activation ID for the emulation module. Please get in touch with your distributor for a quote.

Did you mean it will because I must have Emulation Activation ID only and relevant with PLC setting in TIA Portal, am I right ?

So, If I has Emulation License ID and then I has done the project. Can I open this project in other PC that is don't have Emulation License ID but it have License such as Enterprice License and if in Express version can it be open and mornitor this project ?

Without an Emulation license, you can add the connection parameters in FlexSim´s interface, but you cannot establish a connection, therefore the warning you mentioned above. You will need both, the FlexSim license AND the Emulation license to run an emulation project including the connection.

OK. So, I understand if thay haven't Emulation Licence it can't "Create" new connection.

And if I want to open and "Monitoring" only. Can I do this ?
