Automatically activating computer lab via license server

Hi everyone, I am an IT administrator at a college. We have multiple computer labs on campus that use flexsim, currently on 2023 Update 2. We use LMTools on a license server to license the software. Unfortunately, I can't seem to figure out how to automatically license the software without requiring every user to enter the license server information on each computer they login to. We have a group policy object that sets a registry entry at the following location: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Flexlm License Manager, the key is Flexsim_license_file and the value is (port number)@(license server IP address). This apparently has worked in the past however it does not seem to be working now. Hopefully there is an easy fix. Thanks in advance.

Hi @MitchellD ,

Checkout this article about how to license a multi-user client PC:

https://answers.flexsim.com/articles/134804/license-server-licensing-a-multi-user-client-pc.html

Using a custom deployment script you could install FlexSim and copy the license file described in the article to each client PC.
