Desire AGV interference

I am using AGV to move vehicles thru an assembly system. I have different size bodies that are being put on the AGV. The parts will be different sizes (ex: 14', 16', 18', 20'). The line is designed for 14' but I need to run 20' down the same line. But the spacing is such that the 20' is too long and it should delate the AGV behind it from entering that space. I want the parts on the AGV's to interfere with each other and stop the AGV from moving, thus it will decrease my thruput because of the parts interfering. But my model does seem to do that. Is it possible? or is there a setting I'm missing?

In the On AGV Build Travel Path trigger you can access the traversal points (currently allocated CPs) and allocation points (CPs that will be allocated during the travel) of the AGVs travel path and adjust the allocation/deallocation timing. (Well, you can access them anytime, but you should only change the timing as part of this trigger).

In the attached file, the deallocation timing of TaskExecuter1 is changed depending on the load size. You can try different item sizes by changing the size label of the first item in the source. You could extend this, so that the AGV will also allocate future CPs earlier if it carries a large load.

Though as you can see, you would need to come up with a solution for the loading location, since the AGV can't know how much space to leave if the load does not exist yet.

You could also consider using one trailer ahead of and one behind the AGV at distances representative of the carried item's overhang, or one driver (AGV) and one trailer with the carried object between the two.
