runing FlexSim with CITRIX does not render graphics

Hello,

A university is trying to use FlexSim with CITRIX solution but is not rendering properly.

In this question, it says that it works well, but is from 2016.

Flexsim on Citrix environment - FlexSim Community

Can this be caused by the minimum requirement changing?

My client is using a version of CITRIX with a VMware SVGA 3D driver that supports only OpenGL 2.1. and the mimnimum requirement for FlexSim is OpenGL 3.1.

We tried to use the no GPU acceleration option but this does not allow to visualize the objects.

Is there any other suggestion that we may try?

FlexSim 24.0.1

What does "not rendering properly" mean exactly?

What does "this does not allow to visualize the objects" mean exactly?

Do you have screenshots showing these issues?

If you select "Generic (No GPU Acceleration)" for the OpenGL Context, then FlexSim will use Microsoft Windows' CPU implementation of OpenGL 1.1. In this mode, FlexSim's 3D view will not render very quickly, objects will not cast shadows, and the default operator will not animate properly. Nothing about that has changed since the previous Answers post you linked to.

If that's not working in your Citrix environment, then something changed on the Citrix side in the last 8 years, not on the FlexSim side.

In order to run FlexSim well, you need OpenGL graphics hardware acceleration. Your Citrix Environment may or may not support that depending on how it is configured. VMware's graphics acceleration support is hit-or-miss depending on the version and its configuration. If FlexSim's 3D view isn't rendering properly, it is likely a graphics driver system configuration issue, not a FlexSim issue. Contact Citrix.
