Catia 3d object colors

screenshot-2024-03-22-094042.pngHey guys, i'm trying to import a customized object from CatiaV5, but i tried every format that's supported by Flexsim and it still imported with no color or material properties.

Will appreciate the help, ima leave below the format supported by CatiaV5 to export.

Thanks.

@Brovy, I don't have any experience on Catia at all. I know only Proengineer Wildfire. This tool has got a config level that defines what version of an export data format is used, whenever I export 3D data. Perhaps there are also some switches, you can set for an export data type. As I remember STL and Step can export data of color.

Of those presented I would have expected vrml (1) and iges formats to work for you. If that's not the case then you may need use some other tools in the chain to convert to something like .fbx.

The FlexSim step importer had issues in the past with complex shapes so I would try that format as a last resort.
