change number of AGVs by a parameter

Hello I would like to vary the number of AGVs by changing it in the parameter to use later in the experimenter. The problem is that using a group in process flow gives an error. on the other hand, the number of control points must also increase with the number of AGVs. How do I best solve this?

Thank you in advance!!

The problem is not related to the initial question, but rather the system is not set up properly to use the AGV template. I would suggest you did this tutorial to getter better understanding on how the AGV template works. Starting with the basic one - https://docs.flexsim.com/en/24.0/Tutorials/TaskLogic/Tutorial4AGVs/4-2AGVsUsingProcessFlow/4-2AGVsUsingProcessFlow.html

Try and share the model. Hard to tell whats wrong from just the image. Maybe something with the connection to queue1. I dont think I saved the model unfortunally, also im using 24.1.

Hello, thank you for your response. This link refers to operators. I succeeded in this, just like with transporters connected to a group.

The problem I have now is that I try the same thing with AGVs and it doesn't work. I suspect that these do not automatically connect to a path?

Your problem is not setting the number of AGVs, but rather that your model breaks the connection when pressing Run. If you reset the model after you changed the parameters, you can see that they are connected. If you press run it breaks the connection, wether its 1 or many AGVs. The reason is that you didnt add the AGV process flow to the first AGV. Also you need to change your paths to Default accumulations to get them moving.

@Guldberg I have assigned the first AGV as described above and when I press reset the others are effectively added as you say with connection. After this I also changed the default for all paths despite the AGVs not moving and getting the error as below, any ideas? If you could otherwise upload the model with the adjustment, I will try to find out where the difference lies.

Thank you in advance!
