ASRS:packing method

Hello,

How can I make the ASRS packing method look like a pallet packing method instead of stacking up vertically?

I tried several packing methods as the on Entry Trigger but none of them seem to be working.

A sample model is attached.

The ASRS has internal code that continually updates the item position to follow the slide. Editing this code would probably be quite complex. A simpler workaround might be to place a pallet (invisible) in the ASRS at the start of the model and then move any entering items into that pallet. The downside to this is that any travel would be counted as "travel loaded".

@Felix Möhlmann Thanks, this is great solution, I just didn't understand what does it that mean that any travel would be counted as "travel loaded". why this is a downside?

Because the pallet will stay in the ASRS throughout the model, you wouldn't be able to distinguish between time spend travelling 'empty' and time spent travelling 'loaded'. If this statistic is not of interest in your case then there is no downside.
