Best Practices for Simulating a Production Line on a Google Map Tile in FlexSim

Hi everyone,

I've read a few posts regarding the GIS module in FlexSim and am looking for some suggestions on a specific use case. I'd like to simulate a production line using a Google map tile as the background for my model. My current idea is to import the Google map tile into the model background and then adjust it according to the measurements from our AutoCAD layout.

Is this the best approach, or are there any alternative methods that might work better for this scenario?

@Sri_vikas K, what do you want to use from this tile - visual graphic data or routing data? The first would be just a picture and not a gis tile.

Thanks for the response, I need to use the tile for routing data, the importing of tile as a background does not support to use the routing data right!? Sometimes, it might involves transferring of trucks from one place to another place with in the plant.
