Problem with finding the path

Hi,

my model is getting an error about no path to the control point. What could this be caused by? I can't share the model but I was able to reproduce the error in the following file

Greetings

Example.fsm

FlexSim 24.2.1
agvcontrolpoint
example.fsm (38.5 KiB)
5 |100000

I'm not sure exactly what is going on, but it seems like if the Control Points are too close, that is when the navigation error appears. In your example, if you move ControlPoint6 far enough away from ControlPoint5, the AGV can reverse back from ControlPoint5 when instructed to travel to ControlPoint6. So one workaround would be to make sure the two Control Points are far enough apart.

This might be an issue with the "Relative To Trailer" option in the AGV Travel tasks. Like when travelling to ControlPoint5, it is trying to offset based on token.wagony[3], and when it is travelling to ControlPoint6, it is trying to offset based on token.wagony[4]. So maybe token.wagony[4] is in a bad position to try to have it "travel" to ControlPoint6. And spreading the two Control Points out far enough mitigates the issue. Either way, another possible workaround is to not use the "Relative to Trailer" option (for the last AGV Travel activity at least). Or change which object you want to offset by for the last activity.

We'll keep looking at this to see what the deeper issue may be. In the meantime, if either workaround doesn't work in your situation, can you give me some more details about what you are trying to do. Why do you need the two control points so close together? And is there a need to offset by two different trailers with the two different AGV Travel tasks?

Hi

I think the problem is due to the fact that the train is already on another path. When the train is on the same path as the CP everything works ok. The customer's train works in that it takes loads from each buffer by pulling the trailer up to the buffer. The train cannot reverse and must take the nearest load to an empty trailer. The driveway is calculated from CP to the given trailer and is done in order from shortest to longest.

Best Regards
