Docking Quick Properties window not next to a border

Hello,

since the introduction of the Quick Properties in Flexsim it becomes the main window to change the parameters of every window, object, process flow and modules. But I am only able to place the window rigt next to the border of flexsim program window. I'd like to build an order of the different windows in columns from left to right like Library, Model, Process Flow, Quick Properties, User Manual. How can I achieve this?

Many Thanks! Jörg

FlexSim has two kinds of dockable windows - Tool Windows and Document Windows.

Document Windows

The 3D view, Process Flow view, Global Table view, Help Manual, etc. are all examples of Document Windows. They can be stacked together in various ways with other Document Windows. When you move one and hover over another Document Window you'll see the following set of docking options:

Tool Windows

The Library, Toolbox, Quick Properties, View Settings, all the Console Windows, etc. are all examples of Tool Windows. Tool Windows can only be docked on one of the edges of the main FlexSim window. Tool Windows can also be stacked together with each other, but not with Document Windows.

3 Tool Windows stacked side-by-side on the left of the main window.

So, FlexSim's UI won't let you place the Help Manual to the right of Quick Properties with only one monitor. With two monitors you could drag the Help Manual to the 2nd monitor so that it's a floating window and takes up the 2nd monitor. Then you could have the order you desire.
