There is a way to make the boxes visually appear to be side by side by "translating" them. To do so with two boxes, for example, a Queue can batch the two boxes onto a Conveyor with a Decision Point. In the "On Arrival" trigger of the Decision Point add two triggers under Movement->Translate Item. For this example, enter the options as follows:
The conditions look at every even and every odd item respectively, and "translate" them into different positions at 0 time.

There is not an Queue object involved. It is a expression of style how the items are moving on the conveyor until they are translated.
