How to create a luggage flow in airport simulation ?

In my model passenger arrival in to airport and move to check-in-point which is first avaliable , there the passenger are check up by the agent and the passenger will be send to the sink ,passanger arrival to check-in-point may or may not contain luggage if he have luggage is should be send to the queue and from the queue operator will load it on the conveyor which moves to scan machine . the problem here is how to create a luggage flow from the check -in-point to the conveyor when each passenger arrives , NOTE here there is a possible percentage that how much luggage will each person bring (0 -27%,1-52%,2-15%,3-4%,5-2%)this means 27% of passenger will not bring any luggage ,52% of people bring 1 luggage ect , hear i have attached my model for your reference (rockfort-ai-port-model-autosave-1.fsm (Note this is in conjunction with another question found here.)

Hey Gilbert, just as a heads up, I went ahead and split your two questions into two posts here on the forum, You can find the other question here.

I didn't use your attached model but attached is a sample model that incorporates your question here as well as your other question.

I use the distribution of itemtypes as your model but I changed the inter-arrival time so that there is more traffic to view.

I put a label on the flowitem from the source that tells the sink how many passengers have passed through. Then for each of the passengers represented in that flowitem, I calculate the number of luggage pieces based on your above question in the CalculateLuggage User Command called from each of the check in processors in the OnProcessFinish trigger. I put labels on each of the pieces of luggage showing which check in station they came from, the passenger ID and the luggage ID for that passenger as well as the calculated percent as per your specs.

I believe that the attached model answers both of your questions as well as puts them together in one model. If you have questions on the model, please let me know. And although I didn't use your model, you should be able to adapt what I've done to your model.

I'm sure there are many way this could be solved with Process Flow as well. One relatively simple way is in the attached model. It uses most of the previously attached model.

Hi Gilbert,

I took you model and made some of my modifications to it. Don't know if it will be useful or not but may give you a good idea on how to make your model work the way you want it to. You need to copy the attached Counter.3ds file into your fs3d\Other folder so the graphic will work for the check in counters.
