Could we use 3D Container Functionality on Process Flow Flowchart shapes also ?

With a 3D model, we could use the VisualTool as a container. (User manual: Flexim Object Library / Visual / Overview). The connections to the VisualTool input is automatically associated to the corresponding object inside the VisualTool.

Is it also possible to do it in ProcessFlow with Flow Chart objects? The objective is to create an user Library with Flow chart objects containing different hidden predetermined activites. Then the user must only connect these Flow Chart objects...

Thanks!

I don't know if this is exactly what you're looking for, but you could add a "Start" and "Finish" activity your user library components. And then run them as sub-flows, when you want to put them all together. Something like this:

Is this along the lines of what you're looking for?

Thanks for your anwer.

The idea here is that the user should not handle Process Flow activities, but only Flow Chart shapes. Additionnaly, the content of the Flow Chart shapes must be hidden for the user.

This implies for each Flow Chart Shape from the user library:

- allowing multiple input and/or output (e.g. combining process)

- including source/sink

So if I understand well, it seems that your solution should not work for these aspects...

We've talked about implementing something like this in the future, but the functionality does not exist currently. For now you're limited to making subflows or saving a collection of activities in a user library.

Feel free to make a new idea where you can explain what you'd like to see so others in the community can comment and vote on it.
