Healthcare HC and Intel HD graphics

Does anyone have experience with FlexSimHC and the new Intel HD graphics? I'm looking at the new Dell 13 inch XPS which runs the Intel HD graphics only. I was just wondering if anyone there has experienced they're willing to share.

Thanks,

Tee

Hi @Tee Hiett, we have a Dell XPS 13 in house, and I just tested it with FlexSim HC 5.1.0.

I can confirm that it does a fine job running a sample OR model. Probably not the biggest model ever, but it was decently sized.

With an ultra-portable laptop like this one, you are definitely making trade-offs. It will not give you the same performance as a giant desktop computer with discrete, modern graphics. But in terms of performance per pound and portability, the Dell XPS 13 is a great little machine. It should serve you well for most models.

Thanks, Ben. I was wondering if there have been any comments about the XPS 13 getting hot or being noisy. There have been a few reviews which mention heat or a whining noise as flaws.

It may be that my search goes on :-(...
