limiting traffic in HC

Hi

In the HC environment, can I use the current picklist to model the limited number of people entering into a path way? Such as corridor.

Regards

David

There are no standard pick list options available to restrict traffic along a path. You would need to control traffic using your own counters and possibly redirect travelers or close paths based on the counts.

In the attached example, I used a queue to control the capacity of the area. What do you think?

That's a solution using track activities and a patient queue, but I doubt that would be the best solution for managing traffic in all cases. I think I would rather use the OnArrival trigger on the head node of a path to redirect (or stop travelers) who arrive when the target path is "full"...
