Flexsim 2017 Stopped working

I recently installed and started using Flexsim 2017. I have been creating some very simple models to test some logic concepts (conventional object models, not Process Flow). Unfortunately, Flexsim has been crashing on me many times (getting message "Flexsim 2017 has stopped working").

I've tried to use Visual Studio to debug and saw these exceptions:

Unhandled exception at 0x000000006939CC9A (nvoglv64.dll) in flexsim.exe: 0xC000041D: An unhandled exception was encountered during a user callback.

Exception thrown at 0x000000006939CC9A (nvoglv64.dll) in flexsim.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation reading location 0x0000000000000013.

Any ideas what could be going on?

Would you be able to post the model that's crashing, or give us some replication steps? There was a known crashing bug we just fixed for 17.0.1 where models would crash if they had a text object in the model.

Happening on almost every model I have created. One is attached. One time it crashed immediately when I double-clicked the model file to open Flexsim. Other times, it crashes simply when opening an object in Flexsim.

Are you using an Nvidia Quadro graphics card?

If so, open your NVIDIA control panel and change 3D settings to "3D App - Game Development". That fixes a stability issue in Quadro drivers that causes FlexSim to crash frequently.

After changing that setting, try opening FlexSim and let us know whether you are still having crashing issues.

I appear to be having better luck after making the NVIDIA change. Thank you!

When I opened your model, there were a lot of errors in the Compiler Console and the System Console screens. So what I did was to open a new default workspace (View>Open Default Workspace). Then I tried everything I could think of to try and get it to crash (or reproduce those errors) but the model worked just fine. I've attached the model here so that you can try it and see if you get different results.
